Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026

This policy explains how Uğur Kaya ("NextForGen", "we") handles personal data in the NextForGen mobile app, web panel and smart home hub (the "Service"). The binding Turkish version and our KVKK (Turkish data protection law) notice are available in the app.

Data we collect

• Account data: first and last name, email address, phone number.
• Home data: home and room names, address (if you enter it), the hub and connected devices, automations and scenes.
• Device history: device state changes, kept for 90 days.
• Your phone's push notification token and notification preferences.
• IP address, app version and technical logs for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

Only to provide the Service: remote control of your home, running automations, sending you notifications, installation and technical support, and keeping the Service secure.

What we do not do

• We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• We do not show ads or use your data for advertising.
• We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
• The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Service providers

• Microsoft Azure (Europe region): servers, database and email delivery.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service: push notification delivery.

They process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.

Security

All connections are encrypted (TLS). Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. The hub connects to our servers with mutual certificate authentication. Our technical team accesses your home only for installation and support.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile › Delete Account by confirming your password. When you do:

• Your name, email and phone number are irreversibly anonymized.
• Your push tokens, notification preferences and notifications are deleted, and all your sessions are signed out.
• Homes you own are transferred to their longest-standing admin, otherwise to their longest-standing member. If there is no other member, the home is kept until our technical team assigns a new owner. The hub and devices keep working.
• Records showing that you accepted the terms of use are retained as legal evidence.

If you cannot access the app, email destek@nextforgen.com to request deletion.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18; accounts may only be created by adults.

Changes

We publish updated versions in the app and on our website and notify you in the app about material changes.
